Volunteers of America Mid-States in Manchester, KY is seeking a Recovery Support Technician (RST) to ensure safety and security within the residential program. This full-time, hourly, non-exempt role supports clients and coordinates daily operations under the supervision of the Recovery Support Technician & Peer Support Specialist Supervisor.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, at least 12 months of sobriety if applicable, and driving privileges.

Formación

• This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 12 months continuous sobriety, if applicable.
• Two years post-secondary education is preferred.
• Two years prior experience in a treatment facility (or other specialized knowledge and experience) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• Must have ability to be CPR and First Aid Certified upon 30 days of employment.
• Satisfactory criminal records check.
• Satisfactory sex crimes records check.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain operation control of the facility in the absence of senior staff.
• Ensure client’s compliance with Volunteers of America Mid-States policies and house rules.
• Maintain chronologically written records of events that occur during the shift.
• Maintain client sign-in/sign-out log.
• Make periodic tours of the facility and its grounds.
• Monitor the number of clients in facility and their behavior hourly.
• Complete required documentation.
• Attend training and clinical supervision.
• Provide transportation.
• Provide childcare if needed.
• Observe and report maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) duties as assigned by Supervisor and PQI Committee.
• Other duties assigned.
