Tulsa County is seeking a Real Property Appraiser to identify, inspect, and document residential, commercial, or multi-family properties for ad valorem tax purposes. You will apply the three approaches to value and defend rendered values through protests and appeals.

Responsibilities include field inspections, data entry, and supporting mass appraisal modeling with Power BI. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, with a valid Oklahoma driver’s license preferred or required for

Qualifikationen

• Ability to interact with customers and co-workers professionally.
• Knowledge of Oklahoma statutes, OTC rules, IAAO standards, and local policies.
• Mastery of the three approaches to value: cost, sales comparison, and income/direct income.
• Ability to present and defend values before the Board of Equalization.
• Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Identify, locate, inspect, measure, and document real property to confirm attributes.
• Photograph and document properties using various tools and change-detection software.
• Enter parcel data into appraisal systems and evaluate against valuation standards.
• Assist with mass appraisal modeling and Power BI data analysis.
• Maintain knowledge of economic conditions affecting property values.
