Job summary

The United Group of Companies, Inc. is seeking a full-time Porter for Fox Run at Fulton, a student-housing community in Poughkeepsie, NY.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, with evenings and weekends as needed and requires physical stamina for routine cleaning and maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include cleaning common areas, floors, and restrooms; window and carpet care; inventory of cleaning supplies; and assisting with minor maintenance and grounds tasks as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; residential property maintenance preferred.
• 1–2 years experience in property maintenance preferred.
• EPA and CPO certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuums all common area carpet and tile floors.
• Cleans all glass in vestibules and common area restrooms.
• Maintains cleaning product inventory and equipment.
• Assists in minor maintenance and vacant unit prep.
• Adheres to safety rules and work with team as needed.
