Job summary

Golub & Company LLC, based in Chicago, seeks an Assistant Manager to support Prairie Shores, a 1,675-unit community. You will handle delinquencies, leasing tasks, renewals, vendor invoices, and resident inquiries, guiding operations under the Property Manager.

A Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years' property management experience are preferred; an Illinois leasing agent license is required or obtainable. Compensation includes an hourly rate of $26.92–$29.86, plus potential quarterly bonus and renewal

Responsibilities

• Handle delinquencies using notices and communications to collect past-due rent.
• Enter vendor invoices into accounting software and process to corporate by deadline.
• Assist in leasing activities: tour prospects, process applications, prepare leases.
• Coordinate lease renewals and contact residents to discuss options.
• Respond to resident issues and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Assist in annual management plan and property budgeting with owner goals.
• Prepare leasing reports and financial reporting for ownership.
• Oversee property staff, supervise vendors, and manage contracts.
