Job summary

Avenue5 Residential seeks a Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our properties, ensuring resident satisfaction and efficient management of leases, rent collection, and marketing efforts. You will coordinate staff, drive service excellence, and maintain P&L in line with company standards.

You’ll lead a team, respond to resident issues, partner with the corporate office, and implement plans to improve performance and retention while ensuring compliance with guidelines and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two to three years of experience in property management is required.
• One to two years of direct management experience is required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities is required.
• Real estate license is preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Knowledge of Salesforce.com is preferred.
• Prior experience in Yardi Voyager or another equivalent system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the property, including resident satisfaction, retention, lease administration, rent collection, delinquency management, property P&L, and marketing.
• Meet client expectations and provide an excellent customer service experience.
• Recruit, interview, provide corrective feedback, and hire staff.
• Lead and coach associates, communicating a shared vision and development opportunities.
• Execute the strategic marketing plan to attract and retain residents.
• Adhere to operations guidelines within the property management agreement.
• Respond to resident complaints and liaise with residents and corporate office on maintenance and landlord rules.
