Job summary

AKHIRE INC in Anchorage, United States is seeking a hands-on Property Maintenance Technician. You will perform general maintenance and repairs at a residential property, working on-site with a daily schedule of Monday to Friday, plus on-call shifts.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently, and ready to handle carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks. The role requires at least 2 years of maintenance experience and having access to your own work truck/vehicle

Qualifications

Must have at least 2 years maintenance experience or experience in related field.
Own work truck/vehicle required for long-term, full-time employment.
Desire greater experience in one or more trades: building construction, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, welding, and auto mechanics preferred.
Complete background check and drug screening is required for this job.

Responsibilities

Performs necessary maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the property.
Utilizes skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting.
Repairs or replaces fixtures, hardware, doors, locks.
Applies discretion in determining proper work methods and analyzing maintenance needs.
Responds to maintenance requests promptly and completes assigned work orders in a timely manner.
Maintains organized workspace, tools, equipment and follows safety procedures.
Maintains a professional demeanor and good communication skills.
