Job summary

Red Tail Residential is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for Fir Terrace in Kodiak, Alaska. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs to ensure safety and resident satisfaction.

Candidates must reside in Alaska and be able to work on-site; a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is required. EPA Universal and CPO certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a maintenance technician; multifamily experience preferred.
• Basic proficiency in two or more trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting).
• EPA Universal and CPO certifications preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use property management software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems (HVAC, ventilation).
• Perform electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Service appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers).
• Complete light carpentry, drywall, and hardware repairs.

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Fir Terrace in Kodiak, Alaska. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance for multi-family housing communities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs. You’ll ensure safety standards are met while delivering exceptional service to residents and team members.

Location Requirement

Candidates must currently reside in Alaska. This position is based in Kodiak, Alaska, and requires the ability to work on-site and respond to the maintenance needs of the property.

Responsibilities
