Job summary

Gorman & Company, LLC is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician in Phoenix, AZ to perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliance repairs across a 325-unit community. You’ll handle exterior maintenance, seasonal prep, and make-ready units for new residents while maintaining safety and curb appeal.

Two years in property maintenance is required, with EPA Type II HVAC and CPO preferred. A valid driver's license and strong customer service are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of maintenance experience in property management or related trade.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Maintain exterior areas, pool, and seasonal prep tasks.
• Conduct daily property walks to ensure safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
• Respond to routine and emergency maintenance requests promptly.
• Prepare vacant apartments using make-ready checklists.
• Inspect buildings and grounds and coordinate with vendors.
