Halverson and Blaiser Group, Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Community Manager in maintaining and enhancing portfolio value through responsive resident maintenance services and preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities include repairs, system monitoring, inspections, and coordinating with external contractors. Candidates should have 2+ years in building maintenance, a Class C boiler license, and the ability to perform diverse trades with accuracy and care.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum apartment maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Valid Class C Minnesota Driver’s License and automobile insurance; Class C Boiler’s License.
• Ability to interact with residents, contractors, vendors, owners and company employees and handle complaints with discretion.
• Flexibility to work evenings/weekends and be on-call.

Responsabilités

• Perform repairs to residents’ requests in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Conduct preventive maintenance as directed by the Community Manager.
• Maintain plumbing, heating, and electrical systems.
• Inspect and secure boiler rooms and common areas.
• Assist with move-in/move-out inspections and site inspections.
• Record-keeping of work orders, boiler logs, and inventories.
