Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Fairview, Texas, to ensure buildings meet safety and quality standards. You will perform repairs, inspect equipment, and support make-ready processes for vacant units, while following safety and procedural guidelines.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certification required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• State and local certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventive maintenance per standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including pre-move-in tasks and scheduling vendors.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials and supplies from the maintenance department and tracks inventory.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests to ensure proper tracking.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing parts when possible and ensuring proper use of tools and materials.
• Attends safety meetings and complies with OSHA and related requirements; reports incidents promptly.
• Inspects work performed by contractors and vendors to verify quality and scope.
