Job summary

Haley Residential in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, provide high-level resident service, and ensure property safety and integrity. You will diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building components, respond to work orders, and assist in make-ready tasks to prepare units for market.

Qualifications

1-2 years of related field experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license and a working vehicle for business use.
Smartphone required for work communications.
Proactive attitude to assist the maintenance team and meet residents' needs.

Responsibilities

Diagnoses and performs minor and routine maintenance and repair (electrical, plumbing, AC, heating, appliances, doors, windows, etc.).
Handles resident work orders in a timely manner.
Performs unit make-ready repairs to market-ready status promptly.
Use smartphone for calls and respond to emergency maintenance as needed.
Maintain grounds and exterior building issues; assist interior maintenance duties as required.
Other maintenance duties as assigned.
