Job summary

Northfield Manor in Northfield, MN, seeks a Property Maintenance Technician to maintain buildings and grounds, assist with turnover, and support daily operations under the Property Manager. You will respond to requests, coordinate with vendors, and help keep the community safe, clean, and welcoming for residents.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in maintenance, knows mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems, and can use hand and power tools. RealPage familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in building maintenance.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools.
• Able to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Familiarity with RealPage Maintenance Facilities software.
• Basic proficiency in English for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily janitorial upkeep in common areas and maintain property appearance.
• Complete unit turnovers within 3 days of move-out when necessary.
• Paint and perform preventative maintenance per schedule.
• Assist with apartment inspections and system inspections as required.
• Respond to work orders, prioritize urgency, and log details in OneSite.
• Address maintenance emergencies, including after-hours and holidays.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
