Aspire Living & Learning in New Haven, CT is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to assist the Program Manager in the daily operation of a DSS-funded residential program serving adults with disabilities. This role acts as a bridge between direct care staff and leadership, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in IDD services, preferably in a residential setting.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, administrative and communication skills.
• Knowledge of funding agency regulations/requirements preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have demonstrated computer literacy.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to provide on-call support.
• Must have satisfactory background checks, may be required to be a signer on financial accounts.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Manager in the daily operation and oversight of a DSS-funded residential program for adults with disabilities.
• Bridge between direct care staff and program leadership, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services and regulatory compliance.
• Provide hands-on leadership, staff guidance and administrative support to promote dignity, independence and community inclusion.
