Job summary

ABB is seeking a Residential Programs Leader in the US to own go-to-market programs for the residential sector, driving revenue growth and customer loyalty. You will lead the loyalty program for electrical contractors and coordinate national roadshows with Sales and Marketing to expand market share.

The role requires steering programs end-to-end, managing relationships and campaigns, and tracking performance to inform future product and program development. Travel up to 30–40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience preferred.

• Experience working in or selling to the residential electrical or construction market.

This position reports to:

Product Marketing Director - Smart Buildings NEMA

The Residential Programs Leader is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing programs designed to increase revenue, expand market share, and strengthen customer loyalty in the residential market. The successful candidate will take full ownership of their programs, overseeing all related marketing activities, promotions, and execution support.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Own the full lifecycle of residential go-to-market programs, developing strategies, goals, KPIs, budgets, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Build and manage a loyalty program for small and mid-size electrical contractors, including tiered incentives, rewards, engagement strategies, and ongoing partner support.
• Plan and execute the product and solutions roadshow, coordinating logistics, regional schedules, routes, events, and customer engagement in partnership with Sales and Marketing.
• Develop and execute strategies to expand into new market segments through buying group partnerships, build relationships with group leadership and members, and identify new market opportunities.
• Manage strategic relationships and contractual commitments, ABB’s platform presence, rebate programs, advertising opportunities, and performance tracking to increase builder engagement and product preference.
• Oversee program‑specific marketing materials, digital content, promotional campaigns, trade shows, events, and channel marketing activities while maintaining consistent brand messaging and product positioning.
• Track and analyze program performance, customer feedback, market trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities, improve program effectiveness, and inform future product and program development.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience preferred
• Willingness to travel (up to 30–40%) to support roadshow events and customer engagements
• Experience working in or selling to the residential electrical or construction market
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously

Compensation

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $100,500 to $130,000 annually and is bonus eligible.
