Job summary

AccessPoint RI in Cranston, RI is seeking a dedicated individual to assist the Residential Manager in the overall operation of assigned programs. You will work with staff to foster growth and independence for individuals served.

The role involves leadership duties, scheduling, training, and ensuring adherence to medical and safety protocols under RN supervision. Candidates should have a high school diploma, driver license, and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.
• Access to and provision of an insured automobile on an ongoing basis is required.
• Minimum two years of experience supporting people with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to complete CPR, Human Rights, and other required trainings.
• Capable of effective oral and written communication.
• Capable of reading and comprehending policies and instructions and using independent judgment.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations at all times.
• Ability to use varying degrees of independent judgment and direction.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Residential Manager with ISP planning and mandatory ISP goals.
• Encourage engagement in new and familiar experiences; keep client case records.
• Assist with development of schedules that ensure participation in the community.
• Assist with recruitment, training, and supervision of staff; ensure coverage and adherence to the bargaining agreement.
