Job summary

Passavant Memorial Homes in Mount Pleasant, PA, seeks a Program Specialist to oversee the safety and wellbeing of individuals with intellectual and behavioral health needs in a residential setting, coordinating IP-based activities and community integration. This full-time role reports to the Program Operations Director and requires supervisory experience, a relevant degree, and working knowledge of CH.

6400 regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with 6400 regulations required.
• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university and one year experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years’ experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Associate’s degree, or 60 credit hours, from an accredited college or university and four (4) years’ experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities for individuals per their IP, incl. community integration.
• Coordinate and oversee Direct Support Professionals.
• Complete attendance and payroll records for DSPs.
• Hold regular meetings with DSPs to review progress and provide training.
• Ensure budgetary compliance and fiscal accountability for residential programs.
• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Develop IP, IP updates, and revisions as required under CH. 6400.181(a).
• Participate in IP process, team reviews, and implementation per 6400 regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Operations Director.
