Job summary
Passavant Memorial Homes in Pittsburgh seeks a Program Specialist for a full‑time role in the Harmar area to oversee safety and well‑being in a residential setting, coordinating IP‑driven activities and community integration.
The position reports to the Program Operations Director and requires supervisory experience, appropriate degrees, and a valid driver’s license. Benefits include competitive pay, health/dental/vision coverage, PTO, 401K, and NADSP opportunities.
Qualifications
- Two years supervisory experience required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Experience with 6400 regulations required.
- Advanced degree with relevant experience or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Provide activities for individuals per IP with community integration.
- Oversee Direct Support Professionals and meetings.
- Complete attendance and payroll records for DSPs.
- Train staff and review program needs and progress.
- Ensure budgetary compliance for residential programs.
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Develop IP assessments, updates, and revisions under CH. 6400.181(a).
- Participate in IP process, reviews, and implementation per regulations.
