Job summary

Community Options, Inc. in Rio Rancho, NM seeks an experienced Residential Program Manager to lead a team delivering person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The role focuses on day-to-day operations, staff support, and programmatic goals in a residential setting. The successful candidate will oversee scheduling, training, family communication, and adherence to ISP/PCP plans while ensuring compliance and quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Two years’ full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards relevant to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Employment is contingent upon successful background checks including criminal, central registry, and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing for shifts.
• Lead team performance through communication, training, performance reviews, staff meetings, and recognition.
• Develop and implement activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum.
• Communicate with families and guardians as needed.
• Ensure individuals are supported per ISP/PCP including medication management, meals, and behavior management.
• Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timely.
• Monitor health and medical needs and report concerns promptly.
• Manage relationships with families and guardians.
• Ensure facilities and vehicles are clean, stocked, and well-maintained including groceries and medications.
• Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections or inquiries.
