Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months experience working with children and families with at least one year of residential experience.
• MAP certification or ability to complete MAP certification within 6 months of hire
• Bachelor's-level degree preferred
• Ability to bend, reach, move and lift 75 pounds
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; leadership abilities

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, support, guidance and biweekly supervision to Residential Counselors.
• Coordinate programmatic logistics and safety in dorms, visitor check-ins, and activity planning.
• Collaborate with clinicians to ensure a therapeutic environment.
• Engage with children, monitor behavior, and maintain a safe, structured living environment.
• Plan and execute daily routines and activities for assigned dorms; ensure schedules are followed.
• Assist in intakes and discharges; manage in- and out-of-ratio schedules.
• Participate in training and ensure documentation for licensing requirements.
• Assist in treatment and behavior management plans and crisis intervention; document and report incidents.
