Job summary

Cape Abilities Inc. in Yarmouthport, MA seeks a Residential Services Manager to lead residential programs and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment for participants.

You will hire, train, and supervise Residential Supervisors; develop and monitor treatment and service plans; conduct audits; and coordinate with state agencies to ensure high-quality services. A MA driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years prior experience including 3 years residential management and staff management.
• 3 years supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, brain injuries or other unique challenges.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability and willingness to provide hands-on personal care.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in both verbal and written form.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of Massachusetts required.
• Successful completion of all state and Agency mandated trainings required upon hire.
• Successful completion of Medication Administration Training certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, evaluates, and provides support to Residential Supervisors.
• Ensures regulatory and policy compliance in assigned homes through reviews and audits.
• Guides treatment plan development and monitors implementation.
• Assists with recruiting, supervising, and training Direct Support Professionals.
• Liaises with MRC State Head Injury Program and DDS for residents.
• Provides mandatory trainings for agency staff.
• Reviews and finalizes reports including incident and ISP reports.
• Ensures CARF and state regulatory compliance.
• Provides rotational weekend and evening on-call coverage.
• Serves as mandated reporter to DPPC.
