Job summary

Oak Hill is seeking a Residential Program Worker to provide direct support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities at Plymouth or Burlington, CT. This 40-hour/week union position runs Sun–Thu 7 a.m.–3 p.m., with pay of $18.50–$19.40 per hour depending on shift.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, daily living skills, supervision, medication administration, safety, and documentation in line with Oak Hill policies. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum age 18 required.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, record, and chart data for program maintenance and evaluation.
  • Maintain participants’ cleanliness, comfort and well-being and develop self-help skills through guidance on personal hygiene tasks.
  • Prepare materials for participant activities or projects.
  • Promote and administer medications and document administration per policies; observe changes in behavior or appearance.
  • Apply Emergency First Aid and CPR.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies.
