Job summary

SERV Behavioral Health System, Inc. is seeking a Supervisory Behavioral Health Clinician for a residential program in New Jersey. You will provide on-site care to youth with developmental disabilities and supervise staff, guiding treatment plans and documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of IDD experience or an unlicensed Master’s-level practitioner with 1 year of experience, plus a valid driver’s license and eligibility for background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years’ experience with youth with IDD.
• Unlicensed master’s-level practitioner with 1 year’s experience accepted.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Valid driver’s license in the home state.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass physical, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site direct behavioral health care services to clients with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Provide oversight to home operations and supervise staff, administer treatment plans and documentation.
• Ensure daily structure and coverage by supervising living skills, personal care, case management, transportation, crisis management and recreation.
• Communicate significant behavioral changes and incidents to supervisory personnel.
• Advocate for community resources and act as liaison with licensing authorities.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment compliant with regulations and corporate policies.
• Cooperate with licensing offices during inspections or investigations.
