Job summary

Community Options, Inc. in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Residential Program Manager to lead a care team delivering person-centered services to individuals with disabilities. You will oversee daily operations, ensure programs meet ISP/PCP plans, and coordinate with families and guardians.

The role requires a bachelor’s preference and two years of relevant experience, plus a valid driver’s license and background checks. Starting salary is $62,353.20 per year, with shift options Tue-Sat or Sun-Thu.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; High school diploma or equivalent may suffice.
• Two years’ full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards relevant to supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed.
• Develop and implement activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum.
• Communicate with families and guardians as needed.
• Support individuals per ISP/PCP including medication management, meals, and behavior management.
• Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timely.
• Monitor health and medical needs and report concerns promptly.
• Maintain relationships with families and guardians of individuals in our care.
• Keep work locations and vehicles clean and stocked with supplies.
