Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning in Baltimore County is seeking a Program Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for adults with developmental disabilities, ensuring access to medical and behavioral health services and quality supports. The role includes mentoring staff, writing assessments, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or the equivalent combination of education & experience required.
• Experience providing support to individuals with disabilities and challenging behaviors.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Basic Computer skills, experience using Therap a plus!
• In some locations, a valid US driver’s license, vehicle, and auto insurance may be required, with at least 3 years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations for adults with developmental disabilities, ensuring access to appropriate clinical and medical services.
• Mentor, develop and supervise shift supervisors and direct care staff; monitor staffing schedules and compliance with regulations.
• Assist with writing clinical assessments and overseeing ISP assessments; participate in on-call coverage as needed.
• Provide in-house and agency-contracted training and consultation services; support daily living skills and behavioral plans.
• Adhere to budget guidelines and coordinate services to address medical, psychiatric and social-emotional needs.
