Job summary

The Arc of Greater Prince William / INSIGHT, Inc. seeks an experienced Residential Program Manager II to oversee two residential group homes for adults with IDD in Manassas and Dumfries, VA.

You will supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold person-centered services, aiming to promote independence, safety, and quality of life for residents while coordinating with families and providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services-related field and a minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with IDD.
• Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring individual service plans or treatment plans.
• Supervisory experience or at least five years of relevant IDD experience involving staff direction, service implementation, and monitoring.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with computers and electronic documentation systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide oversight of two residential locations.
• Knowledge of residential licensing requirements and person-centered practices.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certifications or ability to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of two residential group homes, ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centered services.
• Supervise, coach, train, and evaluate Direct Support Professionals and other staff.
• Coordinate staff scheduling, orientation, required training, and regular staff meetings.
• Monitor employee performance and ensure compliance with policies and expectations.
• Provide guidance, support, and problem-solving assistance to staff.
• Assist with direct care and staffing coverage when necessary.
• Ensure group homes meet Virginia licensing requirements and organization standards.
• Monitor and document service plans, assessments, and quarterly reports.
• Promote independence, community involvement, and person-centered support.
• Collaborate with families, guardians, and healthcare providers.
