Job summary

Reading Home & Community Supportive Services (RHCSS) seeks a Residential Program Supervisor / Program Specialist to oversee community homes serving adults with intellectual disabilities and autism.

The role provides administrative and program oversight, supervising staff, coordinating supports, and ensuring person-centered, safe services in Pennsylvania. Strong supervisory and documentation skills are essential for this leadership position.

Qualifications

• Applicants must meet at least one Pennsylvania Chapter 6400 Program Specialist qualification combination.
• Masters degree or higher from an accredited college or university and at least one year of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and at least two years of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism.
• Associate degree or at least 60 college credit hours from an accredited college or university and at least four years of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the completion and annual review of individual assessments.
• Develop, review, implement, and monitor each individual’s Individual Support Plan (ISP).
• Ensure services, outcomes, activities, health needs, behavioral supports, and supervision follow ISP.
• Review progress notes, goal data, medical and behavioral documentation, and incident reports.
• Ensure individuals receive meaningful choices and opportunities for community participation, relationships, and growth.

Education

Masters degree or higher + 1 year of experience in intellectual disabilities/autism

Bachelor's degree + 2 years of experience

Associate degree or 60 college credits + 4 years of experience
