Job summary

Devereux Connecticut is seeking an Assistant Residence Manager in Waterbury, CT to support daily operations of a residence for adults with IDD. You will act as shift leader, help plan ISP/IPP, and ensure medication certification and proper documentation.

You will supervise house meals, manage inventories, and collaborate with the Residential Manager to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging living environment. Competitive hourly pay and strong benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher degree (BS/BA) preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement the daily operation of the assigned residence and function as shift leader in the absence of the RM.
• Assist in the planning and carry out of ISP/IPP Plans.
• Maintain mandated CT DDS medication certification and will dispense medication as assigned.
• Ensures all required documentation is completed, which includes, but is not limited to, daily logs, MyAvatar, staff communication logs, data collection, bed checks.
• Responsible for resident clothing and property inventories.
• Complete client/house money ledgers as spending occurs in conjunction with the RM
• Complete wage spreadsheet and banking as pay checks are received in conjunction with the RM.
• Supervise and assist with house meals.
