Job summary

Arundel Lodge in Maryland seeks an Assistant Bay Ridge Program Manager to support the Bay Ridge residential program. This role combines direct support, program coordination, staff leadership, and operational oversight to ensure recovery-focused services.

You will cover for the Program Manager, assist with admissions and transitions, supervise staff, and coordinate care with nurses and clinicians while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in mental health or residential services.
• Experience with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders preferred.
• Knowledge of Recovery Model, person-centered care, and trauma-informed approaches.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership coverage in the Program Manager's absence and supervise staff.
• Coordinate admissions, transitions, and crisis intervention to ensure safety and continuity of care.
• Monitor program operations, safety, cleanliness, and residential environments.
• Coordinate psychiatric/medical care with nurses, clinicians, and pharmacies.
• Assist with referrals, admissions, transitions and ensure collaboration with treatment teams.
