Job summary

Merakey is seeking a dedicated Lead Staff for a residential program in New Jersey. The role requires managing on-shift operations, providing direct care, and coordinating meals, activities, and safety procedures to support residents and staff.

Position is on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3pm-11pm). Benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement options, and access to wellness resources. Prioritizes safety, teamwork, and responsive incident management.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years experience in a human services residential setting.
• Willingness to obtain NADSP Certification within first year of hire, if required.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff on shift and be the point of contact during your shift.
• Prepare and manage house schedules with the Program Manager.
• Direct care duties including ADL support, meals, supervision.
• Medication management and administration.
• Incident management with Program Manager and QCO.
• Manage household needs: menus, groceries, cleaning, upkeep.
• Ensure ongoing upkeep and cleanliness of the home.
• Address maintenance needs and submit requests.
