Marrakech, Inc. is seeking compassionate individuals for theResidential Program Counselor (DSP) role in Connecticut. You will help individuals with daily living, support medical needs, and follow personalized plans to promote independence and choice.

Experience is helpful but not required; paid training is provided. Qualified applicants earn $19.28/hour, with an extra $0.50/hour after DDS Medication Certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Connecticut Driver’s License is required.
• Ability to obtain DDS Medication Certification, CPR, and First Aid.

About the Role

As a Residential Program Counselor (DSP), you’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in a residential group home setting. You’ll help people live safe, fulfilling lives while building trusting relationships that encourage independence and personal choice.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with daily living skills such as personal care, meals, and routines
• Supporting medical needs and appointments
• Following individualized support and behavior plans
• Encouraging community involvement and social engagement
• Completing routine overnight safety checks (for overnight staff)
• Working collaboratively as part of a compassionate, supportive team

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

Pay

• $19.28 per hour
• Additional $0.50 per hour with DDS Medication Certification
• Certification can be obtained after hire if not already certified
