Marrakech, Inc. in Connecticut is seeking a Lead Program Counselor (DSP) to support individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in a residential group home. You’ll help people live safe, fulfilling lives while modeling professional, compassionate care.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living skills, supporting medical needs, following behavior plans, encouraging community involvement, and collaborating with a supportive team. DDS certification path available after hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Connecticut Driver’s License required.
• Ability to obtain DDS Medication Certification, CPR, and First Aid.
• 1 year of residential experience.

About the Role

As a Lead Program Counselor (DSP), you’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in a residential group home setting by supporting the hiring manager and acting as a role model for your fellow staff. You’ll help people live safe, fulfilling lives while building trusting relationships that encourage independence and personal choice.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with daily living skills such as personal care, meals, and routines
• Supporting medical needs and appointments
• Following individualized support and behavior plans
• Encouraging community involvement and social engagement
• Completing routine overnight safety checks (for overnight staff)
• Working collaboratively as part of a compassionate, supportive team

What We're Looking For

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Connecticut Driver’s License
• Ability to obtain DDS Medication Certification, CPR, and First Aid
• 1-year of residential experience

Pay

• $19.59 - $20.04 per hour
• Additional $0.50 per hour with DDS Medication Certification
• Certification can be obtained after hire if not already certified

Schedule

• Tuesday - Friday 11:00a - 7:00p, Sa 8:00a-4:00p (40 FT)
