Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management, inspections, treatments, and customer education. You will identify pests, determine infestation types, apply treatments, and provide preventative advice while following safety regulations.

Daily work includes avoiding hazards, maintaining equipment, and communicating with clients about solutions. Valid driver's license is required and benefits start on day 1.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations.
• Available to work Monday–Friday and weekends as needed.
• Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow product labels.
• Customer-facing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, while adhering to safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, and assist with sales to current and new customers.
• Maintain and ensure equipment is properly stored, maintained, and in good working condition.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.
• Drive and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle.
