Job summary

Rentokil North America, Inc. is seeking a Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management services. You will inspect properties, identify infestations, and apply treatments while educating customers on prevention techniques.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. The role requires attention to safety, clear communication, and willingness to work variable hours, including weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills are required.
• Basic math skills to follow product label directions.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of client properties to identify signs of pests and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, ensuring safety standards.
• Educate customers on prevention methods and importance of a pest-free environment.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, and assist with sales to current customers.
• Maintain pest control equipment, ensure it is stocked and in good condition.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations and safety protocols.
• Drive and operate company-provided service vehicle as needed.
