Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management, inspecting properties, identifying pests, and applying treatments while explaining solutions to clients.

You will educate customers on prevention, maintain equipment, and adhere to safety protocols. This full-time role requires a valid driver's license and openness to varied environments, with benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and any required licenses/certificates.
• Available to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed.
• Customer-facing experience preferred; solid reading, writing, and math skills.
• Must be able to follow safety protocols and use PPE as required.
• Willingness to learn all areas of pest control.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, safely and effectively.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and keeping a pest-free environment.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, and support sales to new customers.
• Ensure pest control equipment is maintained, stocked, and in good working condition.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and operate the company vehicle safely.
