Job summary

Terminix is hiring a Residential Sales Specialist to sell pest control services to homeowners, conducting needs analyses and recommending solutions.

The role involves inspecting properties, coordinating with service teams, and building proposals to close deals. Candidates should have 1+ year in sales or pest control, plus strong communication and a valid license; heavy travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer Associate’s or Technical degree.
• Pest Industry certifications a plus.
• Must have 1+ years of sales or pest technician experience.
• Prefer 1–2 years in pest control sales and 2+ years in customer service.
• Effective verbal communicator with customer-facing conversations.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs with a needs analysis using product knowledge.
• Visually inspect homes for pests and entry points.
• Sell pest control solutions to residential customers.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Inside Sales, and technicians.
• Develop proposals to resolve issues and enhance services.
• Complete home diagrams with Sales CRM data.
• Follow up on proposals to close opportunities.
• Assist with service installations when needed.
• Log daily activities and sales performance in CRM.
