Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in interior residential painting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of spray equipment, elevated safety procedures, and OSHA and MSDS regulations.
• Proficient with roller and brush work and spray prep.
• Ability to complete small drywall repairs and texture matching.
• Able to work on ladders/scaffolding and carry out safety procedures.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
• Good written and verbal communication; English preferred.
• Availability to work all shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete at least one full apartment home paint or two touch‑ups per day.
• Complete drywall repairs and paint prep functions.
• Assist with daily paint shop opening/closing tasks.
• Maintain paint equipment to near-new condition and follow maintenance protocols.
• Report issues affecting schedule or timely completion of tasks.
• Ensure Cortland standards for painting functions and presentation.
• Keep paint shop stocked, clean, and organized.
• Collaborate with Service Manager to improve painting operations.
