Job summary

Knightvest Residential is seeking a Make Ready Technician to maintain interior standards of our Fort Worth apartments and prepare welcoming homes for new residents. You will work closely with the Service Manager to complete make-ready tasks and support the maintenance team to ensure move-in readiness.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, problem solving, and delivering a high-quality resident experience at our Fort Worth property.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience as a Make Ready Technician.
• Hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting and appliance repair.
• Renovation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for move-in by completing make-ready checklists and ensuring KV standards.
• Perform repairs and improvements including blinds, sheetrock, caulking, painting, plumbing, lighting and appliance work.
• Submit completed make-ready checklists and documentation to the Service Manager.
• Accept service requests from the work-order log and complete tasks promptly and thoroughly.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and special projects as assigned.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities and report maintenance concerns to the Service Manager.
• Assist sister properties to maintain consistency in quality and service.
• Distribute notices and communications to residents as needed.
