Job summary

The NEEDS Center in Beverly, MA is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse to support our day programs and residential group homes in Beverly and surrounding areas. The role includes coordinating residential health care, completing medical documentation, and interfacing with healthcare providers.

This full-time position offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus ($500 at hire and $500 after 6 months). Location is Beverly, MA with Mon-Fri 8am-4pm schedule and some on-call weekends.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Nursing License in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
• Experience with adults with developmental disabilities in a behavioral setting preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and Safety Care certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate residential health care supports.
• Complete assessments, progress notes, trainings and documentation.
• Coordinate care with specialists in day programs and residences.
• Provide nursing assessments as needed.
• Audit for weaknesses/trends and train staff.
• Provide routine medical and medication trainings in homes.
• On-call telephone triage.
• Prepare residences for state audits (CARF/QUEST).
• Assist in opening new residential homes and coordinate admissions.
• Communicate with families, guardians and DDS.
