Job summary

Yellow Dot Heating & Air Conditioning is hiring a Residential New Construction HVAC Mechanic to install and commission heating and cooling systems in new homes. You will read blueprints, follow building codes, and perform initial testing to ensure reliable operation.

You will collaborate with construction teams, maintain equipment, and train helpers on approved installation techniques while meeting project deadlines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in HVAC installation.
• Ability to read plans and specifications accurately.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Install and inspect HVAC equipment in residential settings.
• Descale tubing, braze copper, and install ductwork and piping.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
• Record time and materials on work orders and communicate progress.
• Coach helpers on installation techniques.
