Breeze Air Conditioning in Palm Desert, CA is hiring for a Residential New Construction Apprentice Installer. This entry-level role works alongside HVAC Journeyman and lead Installers to learn installation techniques, safety standards, and trade skills while pursuing a long-term career in the HVAC field.

Qualifications

• Entry-level HVAC experience or trade school coursework preferred but not required.
• RNC experience preferred but not required.
• Interest in pursuing an HVAC apprenticeship or journeyman career path.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of residential HVAC systems in new construction homes
• Support installation of furnaces, air handlers, condensers, ductwork, refrigerant lines, and related components
• Load, stage, and transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites
• Follow mechanical plans, work orders, and supervisor instructions
• Maintain job site cleanliness and organization
• Comply with all safety policies, OSHA standards, and company procedures
• Observe and learn proper HVAC installation techniques and best practices
• Accurately complete assigned job documentation as directed
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors

Job Description:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
• OSHA 10 certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)

Compensation:

• $19-$25 per hour DOE
