Job summary

Breeze Air Conditioning is hiring a Residential New Construction Apprentice Installer in Palm Desert, CA. This entry-level role works with journeymen to learn proper installation techniques and safety standards while building a long-term career in the HVAC trade.

You will assist with installing residential HVAC systems in new homes, transport tools to sites, follow plans, maintain clean jobsites, and document work while gaining hands-on experience toward becoming a journeyman.

Qualifications

• Entry-level HVAC experience or trade school coursework preferred but not required.
• RNC experience preferred but not required.
• Interest in pursuing an HVAC apprenticeship or journeyman career path.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of residential HVAC systems in new construction homes.
• Support installation of furnaces, air handlers, condensers, ductwork, refrigerant lines, and related components.
• Load, stage, and transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.
• Follow mechanical plans, work orders, and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain job site cleanliness and organization.
• Comply with all safety policies, OSHA standards, and company procedures.
• Observe and learn proper HVAC installation techniques and best practices.
• Accurately complete assigned job documentation as directed.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.
