Job summary

BankWest's Residential Mortgage team is seeking a loan servicing specialist to manage reporting and collection activities, coordinating with investors, agencies, and insurers to provide timely status updates and ensure accuracy.

The role requires meticulous attention to deadlines, strong customer service, and compliance with banking regulations, working with internal teams to optimize servicing processes and protect collateral.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; applicable experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 4 years' experience in loan collections or servicing.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and multitask.
• Knowledge of banking terminology and BankWest products/services.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains investor/insurer reporting, reconciliations, and remittance for residential loans serviced.
• Interact with agencies, investors, and insurers to resolve issues and monitor reporting needs.
• Assist with delinquency cure, payment arrangements, and servicing procedures.
• Support HMDA data verification and notices of action with Mortgage Loan Originators.
• Perform other servicing tasks including paid loan processing and escrow knowledge.
