Job summary

Penn Community Bank is seeking a Residential Lending professional to expand the loan pipeline and build strong borrower relationships. You will assist applicants, analyze qualifications, and guide clients through the financing process while delivering exceptional service.

The role requires knowledge of underwriting guidelines, NMLS compliance, and strong communication skills. A college degree is preferred, and the position is based on-site in our lending team with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must meet SAFE Act requirements and be registered with NMLS.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines and bank overlays.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage time exceptionally well.
• Strong presentation/public speaking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales leads independently and with Banking Center Managers/Business Development Officers to grow Residential Lending relationships and product sales.
• Manage a book of Residential Lending borrowers, including loan pipeline, inquiries, and Realtor/COI relationships.
• Assist borrowers in completing financing applications and gathering required information.
• Analyze borrower qualifications to prequalify loan amounts and select appropriate programs and pricing.
• Provide best-in-class service by promptly returning calls, answering questions, and educating borrowers on loan products.
• Comply with all applicable regulations, Bank policies, and privacy standards; participate in training.
• Develop internal and external referral networks to increase the loan pipeline and meet/exceed sales goals.
• Act as a trusted advisor with knowledge of lending processes, policy, and underwriting criteria.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and coordinate warm transfers to internal partners.
