Job summary

Forcht Bank seeks an experienced Residential Loan Processor I to support the timely processing of mortgage loans from initial disclosure through closing. The role requires meticulous review of documents, coordination with customers and third parties, and adherence to regulatory timelines.

You will manage closing schedules, ensure audit-ready files, and resolve processing issues while maintaining strong accuracy and confidentiality in a fast-paced lending environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking or loan documentation is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple files with accuracy and timeliness.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for mortgage processing.

Responsibilities

• Manage the processing workflow for residential mortgage loans from application to closing and post-closing setup.
• Prepare early disclosures within regulatory deadlines and verify accuracy.
• Review loan documentation for completeness and compliance with terms.
• Coordinate with loan officers, customers, attorneys, title companies, and appraisers to obtain required information.
• Order and monitor appraisals, title work, disclosures, and third-party services.
• Prepare and quality-check closing packages against credit terms and policy.
• Maintain audit-ready electronic loan files and proper filing in core systems.
• Identify and escalate processing exceptions and communicate status updates.
