Job summary

Bank of Hawaii is seeking a Mortgage Documentation Processor to coordinate residential loan documentation from application to underwriting submission. You will validate 1003 data, gather income, asset, and disclosure documents, and ensure data integrity within the loan file and processing system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 0–2 years mortgage or credit lending experience; familiarity with conventional/government guidelines and automated underwriting systems preferred.
• Proficient with PC and MS applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to use bank software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; highly organized; able to multitask and meet deadlines; some evenings/extended hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate residential loan documentation from application to underwriter submission within required timeframes.
• Review income, asset, credit, title, property information and disclosures; validate 1003 data and underwriting findings.
• Process documents per investor, bank, and regulatory guidelines; ensure data integrity in loan file and origination system.
• Maintain pipeline and prioritize workload with daily pipeline reports; meet closing date deadlines per DROA and lock expirations.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Lending, ECOA, HMDA, TIL, RESPA, and USA PATRIOT Act; support management in compliance and customer service goals.
