A full-service credit union in Bloomington, IN is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator. The successful candidate will conduct loan interviews, evaluate credit, and maintain relationships with borrowers and referral partners. Requirements include excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of mortgage origination experience are preferred. Competitive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of mortgage origination experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain federal registration/NMLS.
• Sound knowledge of loan terms and conditions.

Responsabilités

• Conduct loan interviews and discuss programs.
• Evaluate credit of prospective borrowers for qualification.
• Contact prospective borrower leads via phone or email.
• Understand and apply regulatory rules in mortgage lending.
• Prospect and network with realtors and referral partners.
