Saco- is seeking an experienced Residential Loan Servicer and Closer in Maine to manage closing, post-closing, and servicing tasks. You will coordinate with borrowers, lenders, and third parties to ensure loans close accurately and board into servicing seamlessly.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of residential lending documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with closing, post-closing, and servicing processes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven.
• Able to coordinate with borrowers, lenders, and third parties.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review approved residential loan files for closing readiness.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate closing documentation.
• Coordinate closing dates with borrowers, loan officers, processors, attorneys, and title companies.
• Review Closing Disclosures for accuracy and consistency with loan terms.
• Verify conditions, documents, insurance, title, payoff info, and other closing requirements.
• Ensure loan documents are executed, notarized, and returned.
• Review loan packages for completeness prior to funding.
• Coordinate loan funding and disbursement per procedures.
• Identify and resolve closing issues and escalate when needed.
• Maintain accurate closing records and imaging.
