Skowhegan Savings Bank seeks a Community Banker (Residential Mortgage Lender) to join our Business Center in Portland, ME. This full-time role focuses on selling deposit and loan products, building relationships, and delivering outstanding customer service.

The position requires NMLS registration under the SAFE Act and Regulation Z, with a background and credit check. You will develop new business, meet lending goals, and cross-sell bank services within the region.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–7+ years of experience in banking, sales or related area.
• NMLS registration required under the SAFE Act and Regulation Z.

Responsabilidades

• Provides professional, eager, courteous and efficient service to all customers.
• Promotes and executes a sales culture and builds relationships with new and existing customers by identifying their needs and determining the appropriate products or services.
• Responsible for maintaining an in-depth knowledge of Retail Consumer and Small Business products/services and recommending appropriate solutions meeting customer’s needs.
• Responsible for deposit and loan goals within the assigned region.
• Cross-sell opportunities by referring clients to other bank services.
• Makes and services loans within prescribed lending authority.
• Ensures lending compliance with origination procedures, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintains timely customer/lead updates in the Synapsis CRM system.
