Job summary

HomeServices Lending, LLC is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to guide clients through the mortgage process and source business from agents, builders, and referral partners. You’ll originate compliant loans and provide excellent service while meeting production goals.

You will analyze financial data, advise on loan programs and rates, manage applications, lock rates, and coordinate timely closings, all while maintaining strong relationships and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years in mortgage sales, processing, or underwriting.
• Proven sales and client relationship management experience.
• Strong communication skills, including phone and social media.
• Active Mortgage Loan Originator license (NMLS) in the relevant state.
• Ability to travel locally for business development and client meetings.
• Knowledge of conventional and government loan guidelines or ability to learn.
• Ability to analyze client needs and recommend mortgage solutions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Promote HomeServices Lending and its mortgage solutions locally.
• Build visibility through real estate agents, builders, and referral partners.
• Advise clients on loan programs, rates, and the mortgage process.
• Analyze financial data to match clients with suitable products.
• Originate residential mortgage loans in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Manage applications, lock rates, and ensure timely loan processing.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, agents, and internal teams.
• Set expectations on timelines, requirements, and next steps.
• Achieve production goals while supporting market share and profitability.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and company policies.
