Qualifications

• 2-5 years relevant mortgage experience
• 3+ years mortgage sales experience required
• Residential mortgage experience required
• FHA/VA & conventional loans experience preferred
• Ability to explain financial calculations and pricing
• Knowledge of consumer lending laws (fair lending, privacy, RESPA)
• Strong relationship development and client management skills
• Expertise in general lending products and mortgage industry

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers about financial situation and lending needs to achieve home ownership goals.
• Collect and analyze financial information including income, assets, debts, and credit history.
• Assess whether customer and property may qualify for a lending solution.
• Recommend lending solutions to meet customers’ objectives.
• Advise on risks and benefits of different lending options.
• Promote Citi’s brand and its lending services to clients and referral sources.
• Visit customers outside Citi’s offices as needed.
• Collaborate with internal partners to grow customer business.
• Refer clients to appropriate Citi professionals for other financial services.
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure smooth loan processing and timely closings.
• Develop referral relationships with Realtors, CPAs, builders, etc.
• Stay updated on local market trends and regulatory changes.
